A-cc Folder Encryptor

A-cc Folder Encryptor achieves this goal by encrypting and hiding your data away. And to make sure no one can use it to decrypt your data, it asks you to password protect it. You can password protect access to A-cc Folder Encryptor, an application you can use to encrypt the data you want to remain private and out of the reach of others.

You can install A-cc Folder Encryptor on a PC powered by Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, and Windows 7. To install the application, you need to download a 1.1MB executable, run it, then follow the simple instructions presented to you by a setup wizard.

On A-cc Folder Encryptor’s interface, there are several buttons in the left hand side: Folders, Update, Advanced, Support, About, and Upgrade. What you see in the pane to the left depends on what button you select. If you click the Advanced button, you will see various settings you can play with, all grouped into tabs.

It is quite easy to take advantage of the functionality A-cc Folder Encryptor has to offer. When the Folder button is selected, you are presented with a pane that lets you explore your drives. Locate the folder you want to protect, hit the Encrypt button, and let A-cc Folder Encryptor do its job. You will see that the folder you select is moved to the pane to the right; that pane lists all your encrypted folders. To decrypt a folder, just select it from the list and hit the Decrypt button. It is as simple as that.

Someone could access A-cc Folder Encryptor and see what folders you encrypted. To prevent this from happening, the application invites you to password protect it. You can set up a password that will prevent others from accessing A-cc Folder Encryptor and thus from accessing the data the application encrypted.
